CySec Professionals Ltd was established to provide opportunity, education and inspiration for existing and future cybersecurity professionals as well as organisations of all sizes and sectors that are seeking to improve cybersecurity management arrangements.
The company exists with an objective to create direct benefit and positive outcomes for individuals and organisations and indirectly, benefit and positive outcomes for the wider cybersecurity profession, local communities and wider society.
Since its formation the company has supported underprivileged, underrepresented, and unemployed individuals, globally, with free training and career advice, experiential learning opportunity as well as sponsoring its local cricket club and angling society.
The company recently enabled 10 participants from it's veteran and graduates communities, in partnership with the North West Cyber Resilience Centre, to receive training as Cyber Security Generalist's using the personal development pathway identified at www.cybersecurity-academy.com.
Outcomes for individual learners and levels of associated social value exceeded all expectations.

Social Value Business (SVB), in partnership with the Social Value Quality Mark CIC (SVQM) undertook the independent review, evaluation and verification of the Social Value created and delivered by CySec Professionals Cyber Security Generalist development programme. SVB adopted the UK widely recognised social accounting method, Social Return on Investment (SROI) to map and account for impact and value.
SVQM, independently reviewed the evidence and conclusions drawn from the analysis and determined that:
CySec Professionals Cyber Security Generalist development pathway delivered a forecast SROI ratio of:
£6.21 for every £1.00 invested, per programme.
