The primary purpose of this Cybersecurity Sales (official job title SecureSuite Solutions Specialist) position is to increase our paid memberships by identifying and qualifying prospects and building relationships to acquire new SecureSuite members. CIS SecureSuite Membership provides organizations access to multiple cybersecurity resources, including assessment tools, build content, and best practice guidelines.
This position will provide exceptional service to all prospective customers; ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention and representing CIS in a professional and courteous manner.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect for and qualify leads. Utilize an approved outbound outline consisting of email templates and marketing content
  • Cultivate qualified leads and manage sales process through close of opportunity (quote, invoice, membership agreement)
  • Meet or exceed quota each month
  • Input and manage all sales opportunities through CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring detailed notes and maintaining data integrity
  • Participate in meetings as necessary which will include forecasting and managing the sales pipeline, product overviews and roadmaps and ensure consistent performance each month
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development
  • Prepare proposals and prepare/present sales contracts, negotiate where necessary with guidance of Director of Sales
  • Deliver professional sales presentations, typically via video conference (WebEx) using approved materials and presentations
  • Represent CIS in a general capacity as necessary, including attending conferences, presenting at events, etc.
  • Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and bi-directional
  • Other tasks and responsibilities

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline*
  • 3+ years of Inside Direct Sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed a revenue quota on a quarterly or annual basis
  • A great attitude and strong desire for success
  • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and channel partners
  • Ability to resolve client concerns and issues
  • Familiar with and fluent using a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.

It's a Plus If You Have

  • Technical selling experience for IT software or hardware
  • Familiarity with Pardot marketing/communications platform
